ClaviBraceTM Sling is a new device for treating collarbone fractures. It won a Da Vinci medical innovation 2010 award. Currently clavicle fractures cause a lot of pain, disability and time off work and are either plated (Costs NHS £2,500 to £4,000), which involves longer healing time or supported with a sling. ClaviBraceTM costs £150 and could save the NHS £20million annually.
