Alastair Rennie, Project Director, AMEC
Alastair Rennie is responsible for developing renewable energy work centred on AMEC Power & Process Europe. His present focus is on carbon capture and storage, with other areas including wind energy and de-carbonised hydrogen, and general review of energy innovation.
Alastair has had a particular focus on the benefits and issues of CCS clusters and networks, and the problems of early stage network development.
He is currently Vice Chair of the UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association and on the Board of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association.
Alastair came to this job with a career in managing offshore oil and gas facilities and sub-sea projects in the North Sea, civil engineering design and construction, and management in the South Atlantic.
