Amaury Vuillaume, Engineer, Rotor Systems Vestas Technology R&D

Amaury Vuillaume is a composite engineer for the Global Research Department at Vestas Technology UK Ltd, leading the effort on wind blade composite recycling.

He started his involvement in sustainability and composite recycling during his Master of Science at Texas A&M University in the Aerospace Department.  

He is involved in a multi-million engineering project as a blade designer and his experience will be important in the selection of parts to be redesigned to accommodate the use of recycled materials in future Vestas products.

Within the i-Composites programme Amaury has lead the investigation of the industrial market for recycled fibres, the implication of legislation on reclyates development and the design opportunities for recycled materials.
