Lynne Porter, Natural Hazards "Probability Uncertainty and Risk", The NERC Knowledge Exchange Perspective.

 

Lynne works for the Natural Environment Research Council in the Knowledge Exchange Team based in Swindon.  She oversees the funding schemes to bring NERC research and users together.  Recently she has been working with Professor John Rees, the theme leader for the Natural Hazards theme in NERC,  to establish ways of working with the financial services sector and other potential users of the research for the programme "Probability, Uncertainty, and Risk" which is centred on Environmental Risk Management.
