Neil Ryan, Business Supervisor, Canyon Europe Limited

Armed with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and experience as a Process Engineer with Hewlett-Packard, Neil was recruited as a KTP Associate with Queen’s University and Canyon Europe Limited, which develops and manufactures innovative, environmentally-friendly trigger sprayers and pump dispensing systems for use in both the consumer and industrial markets in 2003.

Having completed his KTP which won the “Business Impact Award” at the 2010 KTP Awards, Neil is now employed permanently for Canyon as their Operations Manager and R&D Manager and is part of the senior management team. Neil is also the Company Supervisor for a 2nd KTP project that aims to develop a new next generation product that has the potential to open new markets for Canyon. He has also gone on to become a Chartered Manager and obtain a Diploma in Company Directorship from the IoD.  During his time as a KTP Associate Neil obtained an MPhil in Chemical Engineering as well as an NVQ in Management, among other qualifications.
