Jane Devlin, WWF UK
Jane started her career in financial management in the UK public Sector. She worked at BBC Research and Development up to 2006 managing and negotiating business partnerships in broadcast technology. Notable successes included licensing the first chip-set for digital terrestrial TV, the technology behind Freeview. Jane worked from 2007 to 2010 in the UK Forestry Commission, identifying new business opportunities and successfully launching and finding funding for a land remediation spin-out company.
Jane has an MSc in Environmental and Energy Studies (2009) and a BSc in Geology (1983) from the University of Bristol, studied public sector accountancy (CIPFA) and has practitioner qualifications in project management (PRINCE2) and neurolingusitic programming (NLP).
Jane lives with her husband and two teenage children in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB) and is well known for going everywhere by electric bicycle.
