James Peach, Director of Stratified Medicine, Cancer Research UK
The UK’s largest fundraising charity and the largest philanthropic funder of cancer research in Europe (c.£350m/year).
James studied at Oxford University and Science Po Paris, where he was an Entente Cordiale scholar. His early career was in strategy consulting, most recently in McKinsey’s London healthcare team advising the NHS and pharmaceutical clients on strategy and affordability. In previous roles at Cancer Research UK, James has designed the charity’s public health strategy, as well as setting up a performance management and finance department in fundraising. He was also seconded to the Department of Health in 2008 to lead on economic and financial aspects of the national Cancer Reform Strategy.
